George Hamamjian
Investment Advisor
A natural curiosity for ideas and human motivations inspires me to learn more about what really drives financial decision-making. I fix financial problems for business owners and family estates. The satisfaction that comes from showing a client a solution to a problem they didn't think was solvable, then implementing it to achieve their goals, is the intrinsic reward of being an advisor.
My academic journey has been as diverse as it has been enriching. I earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI, and an interdisciplinary master’s degree in the ‘Great Books’ from St. John’s College in Annapolis, MD. These experiences cultivated my analytical skills and deepened my understanding of human motivations, both of which are crucial in financial advising. Before joining GeaSphere Advisors full-time in 2017, I had the privilege of teaching college and university courses across various disciplines, honing my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and reinforcing my commitment to continuous learning.
In 2020, I became fully licensed as a financial advisor, officially marking my transition into a field where I could combine my passion for problem-solving with my desire to assist clients in navigating their financial landscapes. My role involves more than just numbers; it's about understanding the underlying human factors that drive financial decisions and using that insight to provide tailored solutions.
When I’m not working, you can find me immersed in a good book, exploring philosophical ideas, or engaging in thought-provoking discussions. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, whose support and companionship are invaluable to me. Helping others achieve their financial goals is not just a profession for me; it’s a calling. Every day, I strive to bring clarity and peace of mind to my clients, ensuring they are well-equipped to face their financial futures.
